Follow up question: if it were as OP as everyone says, why isn't it more prevealent than any other weapon, the way that Flaylocks were more prevalent than any other sidearms? |

To summarize: people are calling it OP, not because it is OP, but because they might be beat by it.

I have. This wasn't a debate where I don't know the answers - never was meant to be that at all. It is one where I wanted people to think and give the answers instead of "nerf this" mentality without thought. (i.e. devil's advocate) |

The MD's biggest problem is armour tanking. I'd also say that the way explosive damage is handled is also a problem. Fixing those would also, by extension, "fix" the MD in all likelihood.
Given that most people shield tank, I wouldn't call it OP by proxy. |
